The role

The Country Manager Belux is responsible for the commercial management and development of the project and trade business in the Belux region in order to create sales growth, margin and market share. Is this role you manage a team of one Account Manager Façade, two Account Managers and the Key Account Manager Broad Business. You will work closely together with with Trespa colleagues in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Sales Management, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, and others. You report to the VP Exterior Sales.


Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a project sales growth plan for the region (Belgium & Luxembourg)  based on development needs and region performance containing thorough analysis, strategic choices, sales targets, coaching plans, sales promotions, marketing campaigns and required budget.
  • Executes and continuously monitors progress on the sales growth plan and budgets and takes corrective actions when necessary in order to reach sales and margin targets for the total region and own area.
  • Shows leadership in managing the team and works in a proactive and constructive way with the support departments in HQ.
  • Prepare and implement training and coaching programs for the own region in order to bring the standard up from year to year and create a winning team.
  • Coach, supervise and assess the results of the sales team individuals in order to increase performance and plan for growth through proper segmentation & targeting.
  • Follow up trends in the market and identify new business potential to develop new sales growth opportunities
  • Deliver key account plans, accurate sales forecasts and monthly sales reports.
  • Prepare the retirement of the key-account manger and transition the customer activities within the team and the replacement.


What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or Economics
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills;
  • Business acumen and implementation power;
  • Consultative or value based selling skills;
  • Sparring partner for the VP Sales;
  • Project management skills;
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must;
  • Result-oriented mindset and hands-on mentality;
  • Self-confidence, flexible and takes own initiative;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills both to individuals and groups.
  • Professional appearance with a can-do attitude
  • An ability to be a team player and having the structure and work ethic to independently manage a defined territory.
  • Professional level of English, Dutch and preferrable French.
  • CRM Management experience;
