Nemho is the home of Group R&D for the Broadview Holding materials companies Arpa (IT), Formica (world-wide), Homapal (DE), Trespa (NL) and Westag (DE). The core product is high pressure laminates (HPL). Applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors and retail interiors. Continuous investment to develop new and innovative products is a key part of the strategy. Nemho employs over 70 technicians, engineers and chemists responsible for the development of new products and processes and for the continuous improvement of the product quality and production processes efficiency by implementing new and innovative technologies.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a ESG- specialist you take the lead driving the group’s sustainability reporting initiatives, with a primary focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
As a ESG- specialist you will:
- Manage and oversee ESG-aligned reporting, including data collection and analysis.
- Develop internal policies and data governance frameworks to ensure CSRD compliance.
- Collaborate with Nemho and Broadview holdings operating companies to ensure accurate data gathering.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align reporting processes with strategic objectives and compliance requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide training and resources to internal teams to foster a strong understanding of CSRD reporting requirements and best practices.
- Support external audits and verification processes related to CSRD compliance.
Wat do you bring:
- MSc or PhD in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Expertise in ESG metrics, greenhouse gas accounting, and materiality assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, data management, analysis, and reporting abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
- Fluency in English is essential.
