Are you a motivated student with a background in chemistry or chemical engineering? Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge materials research? Join our R&D team and contribute to the development of next-generation Electron Beam-curable coatings for the High Pressure Laminates (HPL) industry!

About the Project

This internship offers a unique opportunity to be involved in every stage of coating development—from idea generation and chemical formulation to material characterization and mechanical testing of final products. You will:

Learn to synthesize and formulate energy-curable resins

Develop coatings with enhanced mechanical and surface properties

Conduct chemical and physical characterizations

Gain experience in HPL panel production and testing

Your Responsibilities

As part of the R&D team you will:

  • Conduct literature reviews and explore innovative coating solutions
  • Develop hypotheses and select raw materials for experiments
  • Perform organic syntheses and laboratory-scale experiments
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental data
  • Follow safety procedures and best laboratory practices
  • Present your findings to the R&D team and prepare a final research report

What You Will Learn

By the end of the internship, you will have gained:
