Internship – Financial Control / Internal Control

Your internship at a glance

As a Finance intern, you will work within the financial control team of our Finance department and experience all financial processes up close. Within the team you will be given a lot of independence and you will be expected to think proactively. Together with the Financial Controllers, you are responsible for the internal control framework within the entire international organization.

The internship includes tasks such as:

• Implement and propose improvements to the internal controls and tax monitoring controls
• Update internal control procedures
• Execute the audit plan for the cycle tests of the Closing process, the Treasury process, the revenue recognition process and the tax controls process.
• You work closely with the Financial Controllers and any other stakeholders such as other Finance employees and IT colleagues;
• Supporting the Financial Control team with projects, daily activities and ad hoc issues.

In addition to these tasks, there are many opportunities within the department to take an active role in current Finance issues that concern the financial control team and to contribute to process improvements.

This is you:

This internship is suitable for a 2nd or 3rd year HBO Accountancy or Business Economics student;

• Available for an internship from September 2024
• Independent and proactive with attention to detail and good communication skills in English and Dutch;
• Feels at home in a dynamic, international, innovative and fast-paced environment.
