The role

The Marketing Manager Exterior develops the marketing strategy and marketing plan for the Exterior market segment. He/she creates value by tuning into the customer segment needs and translating these needs into clear and tangible business propositions. He/she ensures execution in accordance with the overall marketing strategy, in order to generate long term profitable growth in the assigned market segments.

The Marketing Manager owns the end to end marketing for the Exterior segment, starting with thorough understanding of all customer persona’s, their buying journey and jobs to be done. Together with other teams within marketing and the broader commercial organization this role is accountable for effective and efficient execution of all marketing and commercial initiatives.

You will work in a Marketing team of 10 professionals and will report to the Global Marketing Director.


Long Description

  • You develop the marketing strategy for the Exterior market segment of Trespa International, as part of the overall business plan, in order to give direction to the commercial activities for the Exterior segment.
  • You compose proposals for the Exterior segment initiatives, projects and respective budget to further optimize Trespa’s go to market approach.
  • You initiate and prioritize all marketing initiatives for the market segment, in accordance with the marketing strategy, in order to stimulate demand for Trespa products and create profitable growth.
  • You Identify new product market combinations based upon segment leads and you translate these in concrete business propositions.
  • To do so you cooperate with relevant partners in order to secure best-class industry solutions, new product developments and business propositions.


  • You set pricing guidelines for the sales organisations to operate within and you coordinate and implement the price strategy with the local sales forces in order to reach the required margins.
  • You initiate and guide product specific communication efforts in cooperation with the marketing communication team for existing products, new product launches and marketing communication actions (local or worldwide).
  • And of course you work according to our Branding guidelines and strategy.

What do you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Mater degree  in Marketing, Product Development, Business Administration or Economics
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in B2B marketing and/or sales, experience within the construction industry and/or product development  is preferred.
  • Language skills: English fluent, second language fluent preferred (Dutch, French, German or Spanish).
  • Proven track record of building and/or growing a business with a solid data backed plan and leading execution of plans through a matrixed organization
  • Experience in a global role and/or comfortable working in a highly diverse organization
  • Experience in thorough market analyses, customer/market research and business planning
