The  role

The Product Manager develops the marketing road map for his/her products portfolio or market segment according to the marketing strategy.  He/she creates value by tuning into the customer segment needs and translating these needs into clear and tangible projects of new products, systems or solutions. He/she ensures execution of the product strategy in accordance with the overall marketing strategy, in order to generate long term profitable growth.

The Product Manager owns the end to end marketing, starting with thorough understanding of all customer persona’s, their buying journey and jobs to be done. He/she is in charge to analyze and benchmark the competitor product offer and to conduct market research. He/she works with the Sales people to identify customers needs and business opportunities. He/she has to plan and carry out product launches, with the communication team support.

You will work in a Marketing team of 7 professionals and will report to the Marketing Director.

 

 

Main responsibilities

  • You translate business & marketing strategies into product strategy.
  • You own the product roadmap and the marketing plan for your product category.
  • You drive product launches and manage product portfolio & design collection.
  • You provide insights to all stakeholders on the products and markets.
  • You develop product positioning and provide the key differentiators.
  • You are involved in the price policy and product profitability.
  • You identify new product / new market and business opportunities.
  • You collaborate with R&D, Operations & Sales, with Communication team.
  • You initiate and guide product specific communications.
  • You represent the company by visiting customers or on exhibitions.
  • And of course you work according to our Branding guidelines and strategy.

 

 

What do you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree  in Marketing, Product Development, Business Administration or Economics
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in B2B marketing and/or sales, experience within the construction industry and/or product development  is preferred.
  • Language skills: English fluent, second language fluent preferred (Dutch, French, German or Spanish).
  • Proven track record of building and/or growing a business with a solid data backed plan and leading execution of plans through a matrixed organization
  • Experience in a global role and/or comfortable working in a highly diverse organization
  • Experience in thorough market analyses, customer/market research and business planning
