The role

As a Regional Sales Manager, your primary task will be to create and manage sales and related opportunities with Trespa Sales Agents (ISRs), contractors, installers and Trespa Direct Customers within your assigned territory. This will be in accordance with the Country Sales Plan, with a focus on maximizing sales growth, margins, market share and enhancing the company’s image in the chosen market.

You will work in a Sales team of 7 professionals and report to the National Sales Manager.

 

As a Regional Sales Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Develop and implement a yearly growth plan for the territory including Sales Agent and Direct Customer goals. Collaborate with Sales Team and Customers to implement training plans, promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasting.
  • Feed relevant market information to the company through Account plans and CRM - e.g. customer needs, market trends, competition and activity level in the market, etc. – as input for go-to-market and overall sales strategy.
  • Identify and recommend new high-potential accounts that Trespa could add to the National Account portfolio.
  • Actively monitor and revise the Direct customer plan on a regular base to reach the targets set. Work closely together with the Customers sales force to develop projects and opportunities in the market.
  • Monitor and train the Customer’s sales force, contractors and installers on Trespa products.
  • Increase awareness of Trespa products among contractors and installers.
  • Monitor and develop the project business with Trespa Direct Customers, contractors and installers. Acquire projects with these target groups based on benefits & value for Trespa. Secure sales by working together with contractors, installers and fabricators.
  • Manage, coordinate and actively follow up existing projects throughout the sales chain by working closely with the local salesperson in his/her area on specified opportunities.
  • Plan activities pro-actively in advance with a focus on high potential opportunities.
  • Manage and review your own progress and status based on defined KPI’s.
  • Organize project follow-up together with the Technical Manager to improve the win probability of the project.
  • Maintain and actively expand the overall sales network with new and existing high potential relations and customers .

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration. or Economics.
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and/or the construction industry is preferred.
  • Experience in managing a large territory and overseeing a sales team or independent sales agents/representatives.
  • Ability to travel within the territory 50- 70% of the time.
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mind set.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative.
  • Result-oriented team player.
  • Influential interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills using MS Teams, PowerPoint and face-to-face.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication and storytelling during presentations.
  • Proficient in Office 365 Suite.
