The core product is high pressure laminates (HPL). Applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors and retail interiors. Continuous investment to develop new and innovative products is a key part of the strategy. Nemho employs over 70 technicians, engineers and chemists responsible for the development of new products and processes and for the continuous improvement of the product quality and production processes efficiency by implementing new and innovative technologies.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist to strengthen our Group Sustainability team (5 persons) and you will report to the Sustainability Manager. In this role, you will coordinate Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) activities across several Broadview’s production sites, lead the Group’s GHG accounting in line with the GHG Protocol, and act as a point of contact for sustainability topics within the company.

You will support technical analyses, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with different teams, contributing to the Group’s CO₂ reduction efforts and ESG reporting activities.

As a sustainability specialist you will:

  • Lead and manage the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of LCAs for multiple plants across the BVH Group
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and methodological alignment across sites
  • Support the integration of LCA insights into product development and decision-making processes
  • Act as the main point of contact for sustainability-related topics within the assigned company
  • Support and coordinate environmental certifications, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for the assigned company
  • Support data collection, validation, and consolidation for the Group’s ESG reporting processes
  • Collaborate closely with Nemho R&D teams and other key stakeholders (e.g. operations, procurement)
  • Contribute to the achievement of Group climate targets through data-driven insights
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of the Group-wide GHG inventory in compliance with the GHG Protocol; lead the external verification process, acting as the main contact for auditors

Wat do you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience with LCA methodologies and tools (e.g. GaBi, SimaPro, OpenLCA)
  • Experience with the GHG Protocol, carbon accounting, and verification processes is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data quality
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
