The core product is high pressure laminates (HPL). Applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors and retail interiors. Continuous investment to develop new and innovative products is a key part of the strategy. Nemho employs over 70 technicians, engineers and chemists responsible for the development of new products and processes and for the continuous improvement of the product quality and production processes efficiency by implementing new and innovative technologies.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be contributing to the new product and process developments in acrylic coating production technologies for the Broadview Materials companies. Based on your insights and together with a diverse team of specialists, you will deliver opportunities for new product development, process optimizations and standardizations in the in the acrylic coating processes in our factories and be instrumental in the execution of these opportunities. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, whereby depending on your experience and skill set, you can lead (sub-) projects for the team. A strong pragmatic, hands-on approach and an ability to implement a good communication and cooperation with the Operations team is required to be successful.

As a Senior Process Engineer you will:

  • Lead individual projects or be a project team member for larger projects.
  • Contribute to new product developments, manufacturing processes, raw material qualification, and supplier evaluation.
  • Serve as the key Nemho contact for specific technology areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop ideas for long- and short-term project initiatives.
  • Support operations with problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Contribute to program and project descriptions
  • Inform and advise R&D management in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage innovative projects for BVH materials technology companies.
  • Research, analyze, and compare competitive products.

  • Perform project administration and lead medium-scale assignments.
  • Coach and mentor trainees and interns.
  • Build and maintain professional networks with universities, institutes, laboratories, and suppliers.

What do you bring?

  • Education: MSc. or PhD. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience:
    • Proven project and program management skills.
    • People management experience.
    • Advanced technical knowledge (experience in the HPL industry or acrylic lacquering technology is a plus).

Additional information

You should be willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
