About the role

We are looking for an intern for the Continuous Improvement & Projects department.

 

Trespa International B.V. is a leading innovator in the field of architectural panel materials and is internationally recognized as the leading developer of high quality panels for facade cladding, decorative facades and scientific surface solutions. Trespa's head office is located in Weert.

Projects Trespa is working on

  1. Developing and helping to set up a site energy management plan to monitor and analyze (specific) energy consumption of the factory on a site level for facilities and production lines. Developing smart data analytics that can be used to track real-time and d-1 (specific) energy consumption to identify inefficiencies, (energy) leaks and optimizations.
  2. Investigate the potential for the implementation of heat pumps in the factory on process level. Involves data gathering and analysis, pinch analyses, heat pump integration studies
  3. Setting standards and best practices for the continuous improvement of site development, regarding sustainable solutions related to HVAC, Drying, Moisturizing, heat treatment, lighting, and insulation (process and building).
  4. Inventorying assets that are not best practice, comparing these to the lifetime of these assets and setting up a plan for the natural replacement of these assets. Identify obstacles to the implementation of best practice alternatives and propose methods to negate these obstacles.

 

Trespa offers you a challenging internship in the field of Sustainability where you will work as a full employee within the Continuous Improvement & Projects department. You will receive responsibility and good guidance from the team and a competitive internship fee.

 

This is an internship for a minimum of 20 weeks starting in February 2024 for a minimum of 4 days (32 hours) per week.

  • You are currently pursuing an HBO/WO education;
  • You are eager to learn, proactive and solution-oriented;
  • You work accurately;
  • Fluent in English.
